Just a Really Great City
San Diego is such a chill city with so much to do. It has the energy of a big city but feels way more relaxed. The weather was perfect for just walking around the Gaslamp Quarter. Everything felt clean and safe. A great place to unwind.
Fantastic for the Whole Family
Perfect for a family trip. The kids had a blast. Balboa Park alone has enough to keep everyone busy for days with all its museums and open spaces. We found some amazing California burritos nearby for a quick and delicious lunch.
Incredible Beaches and Sunsets
San Diego has some of the best city beaches I've seen. We spent most of our time around Pacific Beach, and the whole area is just so laid-back. It's easy to see why people love the coastal lifestyle here. The sunsets are incredible.
So Many Cool Neighborhoods
Loved how each neighborhood feels so different. Little Italy was full of great places to eat and people-watch. It was really easy to get around and explore on foot. Felt very welcoming everywhere we went.
Stunning Natural Scenery
The access to nature is amazing. We went hiking at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve and the views of the ocean from the cliffs were stunning. It's so nice to have that kind of scenery right next to the city. A great escape.
Amazing Food and History
The food scene is fantastic, especially the Mexican food. Had some of the best fish tacos of my life. Old Town was fun to explore, with lots of history and lively restaurants. Everything was so fresh and flavorful.
